Just got a card in the snail mail about a new dealer in Akron. It's Vandevere Nautiques. Also got a card from C.C. with the same info. Don't have a web address for them but if I find it I will pass it on. Hope they stick around longer then Back Bay Marine did.

Mike VanDevere will be around for a long time...he's a perfect ambassador for CC and the sport.
From what I've heard, his shop is due to open this spring...I can tell you he has a couple of boats from the MOWS inventory in his spare showroom on W. Market in Akron.
The biggest question I have is whether or not we can test drive on Emerald Lake...it's world class! -

my neighbor knows mr. vandevere from our ski team, and has mentioned that theres a good possibility that he is going to open up a c.c. dealership..whereabouts....cant remember details...that would be just great....25 min away!! now im gonna have to play nosey neighbor and get the scoop!!.........scarecrow are you in chippewa lake?Comment

I'm in W. Akron...but I've been out many times to Emerald to watch your ski show...you guys do a great job, and my daughter loves it.
Mike is currently storing his boats at his dealership on W. Market in Akron...I'm not sure if that will be the actual location of the CC dealership, or if he will move them to his I-77 & Arlington Rd. dealership, or some third location.
From what I understand, he will be at the Cleveland boat show and will use that to make his presence known.Comment

cool..just called them talked to jason vandevere and ordered my first couple parts...seemed to be good guy...whats all in the show room, any equipment cleaners etc, wakeboards, clothing, and goodies? may be going up there today!!! or wait til the good stuffs in! boat show -of course!Comment

I was up at Vandevere a few weeks ago looking at the 220 they have in and they only had 3 boats at that time but were expecting several more in the next week or two. If it's the same Jason I spoke with his last name is Hoychick not Vandevere. No accessories at all only the boats, I didn't ask to see if they are going to carry any boards etc...We have been working with Jason for the last few weeks on a deal for the 220 and seems to be a really nice guy...thought my input may helpComment

I didn't even ask about any accessories I was too much in awe over the 220 in the showroom. I'm still talking to my wife about the 220 and hopefully will be new owners in the next month or so.Comment
