Sounds like this mishap is getting a good amount of exposure. Where should Tige send the advertising check? This thing is getting more play than Ski mag's latest publication - free.

Which lake in MN does this boat currently reside?

I believe it's in Washington. The plan is to cut a trail through the ice, winch it up, and get it on a dolly. Apparently, last I heard, no hull damage yet. But the motor is obviously toast.

We need some updated pics of the "rescue" mission!! I wonder what the interior looks like after water has been pouring in there and possibly freezing? I would hate to see what that engine looks like, along with every fitting in there! OUCH!

Requests for pics and video have been made. I think they're saying it'll be next week before they're going to do it. The guy who's going to be doing it has been posting updates on the "Oooops" thread on tmcowners.com.

The owner should set up a Paypal account and solicit donors to help pay for his boat restoration project...I'm sure if he embellished his story enough there would be enough in donations to buy a a couple of quarts of oil that obviously didn't get changed in time.

I copied the registration no. just in case a really inexpensive tige comes up on ebay over the next couple of months. Not that I'm looking.

I read that it was out of the water, but that's all the detail I saw. BKH

according to the thread on tmcowners this is as far as it made it and will rest there until spring.
                            I don\'t care.

I would be sick if that was my boat sitting there like that!! Of course my boat would not be sitting there like that, no question!! I like the house on the little island though!!

Looks like they got it out of the water completely. Wonder how they got it to shore?
