    NYC Boat Show

NY Boat Show starts tomorrow... anyone plan on going... I know there's no other PN member anywhere near my area, but just in case the passerby happens to check the site...

This show is going to be sweet, CC has a new re-designed booth, which was much in need. They will be doing an unvailing of the 220 everyday, if I'm correct. MC has their sweet booth set up, with their purpose-less X-15, and short & fat X-2, and they're yacht-with-bowthruster X-80. Malibu has a pretty boring booth, but they're new "Roof-Rack Tower" is pretty interesting. I find it extremely ugly, and not quite so useful and well thought out, but, its interesting...

Here's a little preview, more higher quality pics to come! If anybody has anything specific on any '06 boat they'd like to see, please LET ME KNOW so I can take the shot and post it. NOTE: CC, MC, and BU are the only comp. inboard companies present...

Diga, Is the BU roof rack intended to hold boards? I don't see traditional board racks on that Illusion X tower. Maybe it's really a tube rack.

There is a Yellow/Navy Air 206 there as well, I'll get shots of it. There is NO 216 or 210.

About the roofrack, I didn't see any board racks incorporated into it. But when we asked the guy, you are right, and he said that one of its purposes was to hold a tube. I'm not sure if this takes up the space for the board racks or not, but I'm not so sure myself how you would safely hold a tube up there if anything, so I'll ask them that tomorrow also..

The BU roof rack is pretty interesting. It's mounted on a rail system that allows it to side back and then tilt down for easy loading/unloading. On top are to cross bars with pads like on trailer guides, so I do think it's intended for boards as well as tubes. Also, you can adjust the aft/stern position about 18" to provide shade in deferent areas. Inovative, but needs some refinement.

Hey, it's 2:25am on the east coast, so do I win the award for the first post of 2006? But heck, I'm the only person on-line; what's with that!

Alright, please pardon some of the angles. They really use every foot availible in this place, so its hard to get a good clean wide shot of the whole boat. So please excuse the shots of not all of the boat, or acute angles. Here are some of the exteriors.

If you are interested in any boat specifically, I have pics of about every part of every CC boat. I have pics of the hydro-gate, storage areas, board racks, stuff we've all seen, etc.. I have almost 200 pics so I'm not gonna post the little nitty-gritty specific shots w/o request.

I have shots of the MSRP sheets, but please PM me if your interested in those...

Alright, I'll be going back so if there's anything else please let me know...

Great interior picture of the 211!

Did they have a 206 ski? If so what colors and do you have any pics?

                            Thanks for your efforts!

No, the NYC show is one of, if not the, most expensive. They use every foot they can get of the space. They didn't even have room for a 210, so there is not going to be two different editions of the same boat--no Ski 206, just the yellow Air. You see all the boats there, except of course, the famous yellow/blk 220. Its the same one as we've all seen 223235 times so I didn't post it. My pictures of the 220 are nothing compared to other pics of the exact same boat on the site...
