2006 Cedar Point Reunion

I went to the Cedar Point Reunion in Ohio last year and was wondering if any of you guys went, and what you thought of it?? Is anyone going to it this year??
I don't care much for the rides, but I do enjoy going through the lot and checking out all of the different boats, and seeing how people trick out their boats. I especially enjoy seeing the really old boats! Not a real great turn out this year compared to previous ones, but it is still fun to get together with a bunch of CC owners all in one place!

We didn't go this past year because our lake festival was on the same day. We hope to be able to make it in 2006, Lord willing. My wife and boys love the rides. I like seeing the boats. The admission price and lunch is nice also.

ryan, the Cedar Point reunion is on June 24th this year. If you need a registration form, they don't have it listed yet but keep checking Mid- West CC website and you can download it from there once they post it. www.nautique.com
The weather is anyones guess, as Jeff said in a different post, '05 was hot, hot, hot, '04 was cold and rainy until the afternoon! A real great time though, I am looking forward to '06, hopefully a better turn out this year!

i was there with my family for the 2005 reunion. We are planning on attending the 2006 reunion.

The lake festival is the same day. I gave my boys the choice and they voted for the Cedar Point Reunion.

Do all of you take your boats??? We haven't been to the reunion since it was @ Sea World and we pulled our 73 Skier there.

I am planning to go again this year. There were some rumors going around last year that they were planning to move the awards presentation indoors for 2006. That would be a nice change, especially if the weather is really hot again. It will be nice to meet the new Ohio dealer, too.

I've gone twice. I took the boat to Geauga Lake in '02 but didn't take it along in '04. I may bring it this year. It's just a lot of work because I want it to be spotless. I clean it thoroughly before I take it up and then wipe it down again after I get there. I'm kind of concerned about the many Sea Gulls around that area defecating on my boat. The people that bring boats are entered in a drawing for some cool prizes. I'll probably the week before whether I'll take it for sure.

I always take mine, especially now that I won the Shaun Murray wakeboard two years ago and a wakeboard mag subscription last year!! I don't like all the road grime that gets on the interior though! I am like CHassmann, I usually don't know until about a week before whether I am going to bring it or not, I always watch the weather to see if they are calling for bad weather or not, if they are calling for a bunch of rain I won't take it.
