    Our 211 + Cabin Fever

Attached are the latest pictures of our 05 211. We found the Excalibur engine has plenty of power and the teak platform feels good on the feet. I'm wondering if anyone who lives in a snowy climate has ever been impulsive enough to dig their boat out of the snow. You just hitched the boat up and trailered it until you came across a lake that was warm enough to ski on. Let me know how it went, it sounds like a pretty good plan to me these days.

At $15 to $20 per foot to shrink-wrap; I would rather put the money towards fuel. Given the costs, I don't understood the great benefits of shrink-wrap. Regular plastic wrap keeps the snow out while being loose enough so the interior doesn't turn into a humidor when the warmer spring temps return. Shrink-wrap requires venting; which means poking holes in the tight fitting plastic.

u like the teak platform better? we had a teak platform on our supra and i hated it on my feet. i think the fiberglass with the padding is a lot easier on the feet. feels real good after a few huge airs on the board and ur feet hurt real bad.
