Heater Tube Plastic Ends

I snapped the plastic center section out of one of my heater tubes yesterday. Does anyone know if HeaterCraft will sell just the plastic ends? I will contact them directly later, but was just wondering if anyone else has had to order this part.

My brother was able to buy the ends for his mastercraft. If you don't find them, let me know
and I'll check with him as to where he purchased. BKH

If they broke by you just trying to take it out, shouldn't that be a warantee issue, and not be considered as misuse or abuse?

Nah, this was my fault. I had to relocate the place where the hoses come through the kick panel, and I didn't make one of the holes quite big enough. It held the plastic piece so tightly that when I tried to pull the tube out, I ripped the plastic center part right off.

on a side note, have you found that the four long screws that hold the panel in place to that "ramp" on the floor get stripped? two out of four of mine are and the panel wiggles. also the throttle cable rests beside it (the panel) and when you shift the boat into gear the panel moves. do you have the same thing?

Yeah, that fiberglass hump has been a topic of discussion a few times on this site. It is an odd way of mounting the panel. I haven't had any of the screws strip, but I have spent a good amount of time trying to get them lined up with the holes when reattaching the panel. This last time, I had to move the panel as far over to the left as possible so that the repositioned heater hoses would clear the hump, and so I ended up drilling new holes. Now the panel is super solid because it is pushed up against the panel facing the walkway to the bow. The sub doesn't even rattle it.
