PICs of Member 216s - "Club within the club"

    All,

In response to my posting of my new 216 back in December, Redelf75 stated "...welcome to the club within the club!"

So, I thought it would be great for all those 216 owners to post their PICs. I'd like to see how creative you all have gotten on your color schemes, tricked out stereos, etc.

Since there's only a 12" difference, and my motto is "You don't have to be able to hit bottom, just be able to touch both sides" - I'd like to see those 206 PICs also.

The folks I recall from my initial post who were in this smaller club are:

    - Nautique95
    - Redelf75
    - AbunDiga909 (aka Austin)
    - KPNautique
    - krs0394
    - Others???

    Here's my PIC: Scottrob's 2005 216 - Harley Davidson Style!

Alright, so here are the 2 216's in my life...

The first one, I have to pay my respect to. This is the boat that was won in the deal raffle back in '03, and is now proudly owned by the owner of my local dealer. You'd think orange is disgusting, but seeing this in person, it was the first Nautique that made my jaw drop. The picture I have doens't do it justice, but just take a look at the glimmer and shine in the water, and whats so cool is that when I was in the bow of this boat, I looked over the side, and there was this neon glow shining down on the water from the orange gelcoat--I thought it was the coolest thing--the boat really was glowing. This is a 216 Selling Machine, and it's shown by the number of 216's on my lake...

And then of course, the second boat that made my jaw drop... 8-)

Sorry for the tripple post, but just thought I would add some other random 216's I have on my comp. All great boats, can't have 'em all...

The orange one is a 206...

Got it on a trip in 6th, I liked yellow. You'll notice too I had to get new sunglasses when the boat arrived... ;-)

scott, great thread!! I love it! Here is my pride and joy! This pic is when I first brought it home, since then I have added Nautique & Air decals to the trailer, air bubble decals to the tower, mirror bracket on the tower, bow stop and chrome rims on the trailer. When the weather get nice I will post an updated pic!

Well I don't want to feel left out so here is my 2002 Air. I just had the tower re-powdered so it is much brighther and before it hits the water this spring I am having the docking lights and dual batteries installed.

Well, we don't use a tower :x but a fly high pole, haven't convinced the powers tobe to buy one yet. I do have built in tanks plus we use 2- 600 lbs sacs, one in the trunk and the other in the cooler opening in the floor. Hope we can still be in the mini-club Yellow_Flash_Colorz: Will post more pics when weather warms up, only high 20's today

Even thought I'm partial to the 206, I think the 216 is the sharpest boat in the CC fleet. The pics above just confirm that belief. Nice!

KRS - Looks like you have the same colors on my old Sport/pre-216. Great color choice! Do pre-216s count? Maybe we're in the mini-club also.
