    Factory Switches for Tower Lights

Has anyone installed there own light bar and used the unused switches (ie, heater, ACCY, ect) on the dash instead of some non factory switches? If so, do the switches have wires that go anywhere if they are not in use? Example, my boat has a switch for a heater and shower too, but the boat has neither and i will never put either in the boat. So could I use these for my tower light switches??? Help Needed! Thanks,
    Matt

yes you con use the switches but make sure the lights have relays or youll burn out the switch. (too much power draw) the wires for the accessories are usuall orange or orange with a block or white stripe

Our tower lights use the shower button. It's possible, but not that easy. Another guy who installed something else couldn't figure out how to do it, and I don't know how myself. If you bypass the keypad though, you can make it so you can use whatever lights you want to while the battery switch is still in the "All-Off" position, which may be nice at times...

The outfit that installed my Alarm system also installed the tower lights, they used the 2 unused ballast tank switches on my 206, (2) lights on 1 switch & (4) lights on the other. Lights also activate with the Alarm, everything works great.
