    Hydrohoist setup

Looking for some more help. I did not get a chance to setup or put my boat on our existing lift last year, since it was late in the season when i purchased my boat.

I have a single tank (large rectangle) hydrohoist that previous held a 20ft I/O SeaRay, how can i best go about preparing this lift setup for my '03 206? Would measuring the trailer be best as a quick reference, or is their a measurement guide i need to follow to make sure that everything is position properly?

Understand I am not an expert on your particular boat or lift but can tell you my experience. I just went from a 23 foot i/o to a 2014 230. First of all measurements from your trailer would be the best way to get them. I am guessing you have the e series lift and not the ultra lift since you stated you have the one large rectangular. I have an econo lift which is about identical. I had to get the taller risers then move the bunks out because of the tracking fins. I can't remember exact size but could measure for you. Then I had to move the entire lift up in the slip about a foot so the rudder did not hit the cross bar on the back of the lift.

Photos of it would help better understand your setup. Few angles etc.

I setup my Galva Lift for my Pro Air (21 ft DD), and then adjusted it for our current 230 SANTE. I used the trailer bunks as a guide line, and used the bunks as a reference to measure the depth of the tracking fins. On my lift/boat combo, I didn't need to extend the bunks higher, but I've seen some lifts with fairly short bunk arms.
Worst case, you can call the local boat lift dealer, and most of them are pretty helpful on this kind of thing, also not a bad idea to have them do a service on the lift to make sure it's ready to receive your baby!
