    I believe the real answer is economics, as it usually is. CC is already continuing to carry the 196 for the hardcore skiers and to maintain its heritage as the best 3 event boat on the market. The number sold don't justify continuing the 196, but CC is commited to maintaining it. As Fatboy suggests, the hardcores who want a little more room are buying the 206. Most of the crossover
    buyers are buying the 211. CC just is not selling that many units of the 216. my $.02. BKH

      My post was just my best guesstimate of why CC might do away with the 216. No preconceived notions involved in my assessment.
