    Boston Boat Show

The Boston Boat Show opens at the Bayside Expo Feb 18th and runs through the 26th.

We will have the 196, 206, 211 Team and 220 Team on display in our CC booth # P200. We will also be displaying a mix of 10 more boats, (Alumacraft, Cobia, Premier Pontoons, Suzuki & Yamaha Outboards) in booth our other booth # 1305.

Stop by and check things out.

Hope to see all of you there.
Lack of proper planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

I am flying down to the Miami Boat Show Wednesday - and will be at that show for a few days. Then hopefully I wil hit the Boston show. If NECC is who I think it is, Hello Sir, I hope you had a great year and I also hope to see you at the show.

    Thanks,
    Erik

ps. This was my 100th post!

Well I have my press passes to the Miami boat show and I'm flying down for VIP day...which is this Thursday. So hopefully I can talk to a bunch of people that day, and I'm going back on Friday to take a second swing through the place and take care of some last details. I am psyched for the show actually. Then I fly back here on Saturday and probably hit the Boston boat show. More to apoligize to Craig than anything else, for some stuff that happened last year.

I guess I just like being around boats WAY too much.

They got my site wrong on my Press Pass. Good thing they got my name RIGHT. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

LOL, that press badge brings in some bad memories... some know why... ;-) I'll tell ya though.. they aren't that hard to get, and, uhh, lets' just say some take them pretty seriously...

Its nice Miami has a press day, there wasn't one in NYC, only one for the car show... My apologies to Craig too, if he remembers our story...

Umm. I take mine kind of seriously as it was not easy to get. What is your point though? What happened?

I respect yours fully, and I understand Miami is much more of a boating location than NYC is. I have my own story that directly relates to the show in NYC... I took mine seriously too, but the way things work between these two shows is very different. Here, the show is pretty big, but its still a joke compared to the other shows that are at Javits Center. It's their least profitable event, and generates the least revenue, which is why it has the worst dates of the year. I can though compare the Miami Boat Show to the NYC Auto Show, which IS taken very seriously. They have a press day with nice custom badges given only to a handful of people. Once, I got hold of one, and felt very honored. But as for the boat show here, its really nothing special. I get one, but don't have anything near the journalism skills that you do. I wish I had the speaking abilities and connections you do... But hey, if they make it availible to me, I'm going to take advantage of it, and become as much 'press' to my abilities. But like I said, you just gotta know what your doing... It took me one year and one day to get it right... but now I've got my thing going, and now what I'm doing... 8-)

Sorry for the long response, I understand how you take yours seriously, I didn't mean to be a jerk, sorry...

                Boston Boat Show Pictures

Visited Jeff and crew at NECC. Special thanks to a Regional Dealer Rep (don't know what is real title is) who spend 15-20 minutes going through the 206

                Competitive Comments

Supra-sharp, vibrant colors design wonder if the wakes tracking and hulls have improved as well

Moomba-much more impressive then Gekko for and entry level

Mastercraft-no 209 there, the 197 looks cramped, drinkholders are in valuable space, upholstry is course and stiff. The Rep told me the cc 206 is quote "a good recreational ski boat"

Tige-they look like a direct drive in the body of an I/O

Malibu-overheard them bitching about JD Power, say one friend there who asked if I was visiting there to see a "real boat".......typical Bu owner line

My picture taking is not great but here goes

                    RE: More Pics

Sweet 206. Makes me want to buy a new one. Kids don't need college.
