2000 air nautique replacing original carpet

PIt's time to restore the original interior it's about shot. I will be starting with carpet. So far removing old carpet coming off with out to many issues. I am trying to save it to use it for a template. The thing that worries me is the install I was hoping to do bottom of boat this year, next year the sides only because I'm planning to replace steering and throttle cable next year it looks like a pita.I have to remove gauge side panel.

I plan on doing the same this spring to 2000 air keep us posted on your progress. As for the steering cable its actually pretty easy to do when everything is removed. I taped the new line to the old line and pulled it through, the hardest part is removing the ballast tanks. Good luck
