Sport Nautique 200 WITHOUT Tower

Came across this 2014 Sport Nautique 200 WITHOUT a tower today. Wonder how many of this model there are out there without towers.

I have to believe that this boat in an anomoly. If you ski hardcore with no wakeboarding you won't want the 200v. There are two reasons in my eyes for 200v. One is because you want to do both ski and wakeboard. The other is because you need to meet a lake restriction for a wakeboat. However I have seen a fair share of Maristar 200's(in essence stripped down x2's)without tower often so ...............I just don't get it tho.

Same thing I would say about a boat that has a horrible skiing wake, lol. Know lot's of people who only ski and many who prefer the open floor plan of a VDrive, add in some of the many inconveniences a tower brings, and surely there are some buyers out there looking for that boat. Would not be my preference though that is for sure.

My wife wants a 200V with no tower. We don't wakeboard, but she likes the sun deck and walk around space the 200V offers. I don't want to deal with the potential poor resale of one with no tower though.

I wonder if you could order one with the tower not installed, and then install it later if/when you decide to sell it.

I'd imagine one could, but then you'd also have to include the ballast system...optioned-out like the Air 200V. I'd hate to spend all that extra money up front, just for resale on the backend.

I've seen a few since the 200v was introduced. Mark and the guys at N3 had a really classy looking 200v with a 409 that was ordered without a tower and eventually received one when it sold.

So to answer Jeff's question, you can certainly add a tower after the fact but I'm sure it's not the cheapest option. I had a conversation with someone (maybe Zach @ N3) who said everything below the deck is the same when ordering without a tower. This makes the most sense as the hull & deck are put together a few steps ahead of the towers being installed in the assembly line.

Hopefully someone will order one in blue with a 409 without a tower and keep it until they depreciate enough for me to own one!
