I checked with Ram Lin through my dealer and apparently, they are not too keen on building any more of these low boy trailers. The tolerances and clearance are just too low.

The local Phoenix trailer people said the same thing. Guess I'm gonna have to raise my door.

DocPhil....I had an out building added and bumped from 8 to 10 to fit my old 226 with tower folded. Crazy....my 2005 226 fit with tower folded....2010 226 tower folded did NOT. Wasn't going to let it sit outside, so we added the small section. I now have my 15 G21 in there. Click image for larger version

That's a good idea Kenv. I will update with what I decide to do. I had my FIL come over and said raising the door would be a half day's work. So I might do that way. still not sure.

Cool. Keep us posted. When my dad built the garage, all he had was a bay boat....then along came my brother's Sport and my 226 with towers...so the low door was not going to work. The Sport in there worked OK...folded tower backing in and you can raise the tower once in. But the newer boats sit SO high on the trailers, even the folded towers are way up there. Good luck. Ken

It's worth it Phil, the G is an amazing boat! I have 14 x 30 boat shed and vaulted the rafters so mine would fit without lowering the tower.
