          If I were to sell my boat, at 13 years old, I could hardly say "perfect." I know where every little nick is.

          "Close to Perfect" is not a scratch, perfect vinyl, garaged, meticulous records since purchased by 1st owner, fresh water, etc., etc.

          Some of my vinyl is, in fact, "perfect" as I have replacement skins NIB sprayed with 303 and out of the light/elements.
          1998 Ski Nautique (Red/Silver Cloud), GT-40, Perfect Pass Stargazer 8.0z (Zbox), Acme #422, Tunable Rudder.

            i'd say our 88 is average,
            good gel color still (a few nicks and discoloration on keel)
            solid engine and trans
            clean bilge
            vinyl is old and seams are splitting, carpet is matted.
            900 hours

            far far far from perfect, no boat is perfect (net even at the dealer 'diga), just close.
            I don\'t care.
