    Deciding between SAN 210/230

I am a first time buyer who enjoys wakeboarding/wakesurfing/skiing. I would like a family boat that can do everything. I am looking at SAN and would like to hear opinions on pro/cons between 210/230. I will likely have between 4-7 people on the boat.

Is the NSS dealer installed vs factory comparable?
Having NSS dealer installed, are there any issues controlling it with the LINC Helm system?
Are the 2014s worth the extra money over the 2012s?
    Which options are a necessity?
For the 230, do you need more horsepower?
When buying a used nautique, anything major to look out for?

If you will have 7 or more most of the time and don't care about skiing then the 230 would be your best choice. If you are out mostly with 4 in your crew and want a great wakeboard, wakesurf with a decent recreational ski wake then go with the 210. The 5.7 is fine in the 210 for the 230 go with the 6L. Nautiques are great boats and hold up better than most look at the overall condition if it was well cared for on the outside it was probably well cared for inside.

I agree, I have a 210 with pro ballast and could use a few more hp when fully weighted and wakeboarding. Go for the 409hp if you go with a 230!
I think the new 210 has plenty of room for 7 people, but obviously the 230 would be even better.

Buy the 230. Eventually you'll want a bigger boat and you'll keep it longer and that saves money over the course of time.

If you buy a used one make sure you get the warranty transferred.

NSS from dealer ought to be exact same as from the factory

I've owned 5 210 boats and love them. We drove a 230 for the weekend and personally we didn't like it. The size was too much for us. We also didn't want the larger slip as we store our boat on a lift in the summer. We have 5 people every weekend and it's great with the 210. Maybe I'm wrong but the 210 boats seem to be extremely popular. We will never own anything over 21 feet as it's the perfect size for us to drive , park , store etc..

When buying a nautique I always look at how we the boat is taken care of. 1 owner boats are a plus especially if you can find a member with one for sale that's a die hard fan wink wink
