Today I sold my Malibu 247. She was a great boat and I will miss her for sure. I worked the deal through my dealership so that I can save a few grand on sales tax on the new boat. My dealer told me that the boat would be there on Saturday, so the timing was pretty awesome.

While waiting at the dealership for the final check to be transferred, my dealer pulls up with my boat!!! I yell: 'There's my new boat' and I am like a kid at Christmas. The boat came earlier than expected and I am just stoked as can be. I am trying not to jump up and down. I emphasize to my old boat buyers that I was not excited because I hated my old boat, but I am sure they may have felt suddenly worried that I was so excited. Regardless, the colors turned out awesome. Multiple people commented on how clean it looks.

My dealer had been using Extreme trailers, and due to some recommendations from NYRyan and others, I talked him into switching to Boatmate. They have to be shipped much farther, but I thought there were some benefits. He commented that pulling the G23 usually makes him feel like he is pulling a really big boat. He has noted with this trailer, the boat does not feel big at all. It simply pulls better.

Now that my college basketball days are over, my height is just a pain with finding clothes, bumping my head, and feeling uncomfortable in crowded elevators.

Playing ball in college was awesome, and it got my undergrad paid for, so I am not complaining. The tower on the Nauti is nice and high, so I am very glad for that.

I played at the University of Utah (that is where the red comes from, Go Utes! BTW, they won their first round game in the NCAA yesterday).

Right now I have hemorrhaged with a trip to Belize with 3 kids, a new truck and a new boat. I need to stop the bleeding for a minute.

First up will be stereo upgrades. I may just throw a pump overboard with a few sacks I already have before I plumb it in. Just to be sure I believe you

I was able to sell my boat with just 1 pair of REV 10's, so I have a pair just sitting in the garage waiting to get hooked up.
