Here is a video that someone posted this summer. It is on a 2013 with NSS. The 2014 should be as good or better. I will also post a link to the trend that discuss the setup. If surfing is the main goal, the 210 or 230 are probably going to be better than the G. The G can just accommodate more ballast. The 230 with rear bags up graded to 750's throws a huge wave with great push. I am anxious to see how much bigger and longer it gets with an integrated bow sac.

I'm looking at 210 and 230 myself and I was told to take a look at WAKEBOARDING Mag.com. Here's a video of the 210 from that site:

Thanks for the videos. They were underwhelming to say the least. The G boats will always displace more water just because of the size compared to the 210 and 230. The 230 still has 100' beam. So its still a very narrow boat. It is a bit heavy. I have yet to see a good video on the 230 too. I guess everyone just bumps up to the G boats.

Their review was the reason I looked at the 230 when we bought our boat.

I used to snowboard with Tommy Czeshin growing up out in Tahoe we were same age. We still have a house out there. How did I not know he turned into pro wakesurfer. AWESOME. The guy can apparently ride anything.

                  Great vids.

Interesting comment because most of what I've seen from the Malibu boats from a surfing perspective have not been impressive to me at all. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder and that's why we have options.

Check this out. This is my exact setup. Its lots of weight but this what I call video. Malibu couldn't even do something like this. VLX 21foot boat. Still looking to see if the 210 could do this with less weight.

That's a nice wave for sure, but you are looking for a non or lightly weighted boat to match a really nicely designed boat loaded with 5k in ballast. I think you have come to the correct conclusion to keep yours and weight it down.

I personally don't see where that wave you are posting Ninja is really any better than the Video of the 210? The water is much clearer on the 210 Video and the rider is doing all of the tricks and more. So how do you really need a bigger wave? JMO

I'm the owner of the 210 in the above video. The port side wave is even better than the starboard side when weighted correctly. This day we had the wave dialed for goofy riders and we made a quick switch for the regular riders without doing the normal set-up. The 2012 and 2013 210's liked a bit more weight on the surf side to get the best wave with NSS. I'll be in a 2014 210 this summer. I'll dial it in and report on it for sure.
