I need a bimini, local dealer has one of this style (found photo online- not my boat or local) in stock that he says will work on my 230, can't find any photos of it open though and I'm having a hard time visualizing how it would look open and how the rider's rope works with that rainbowed bar in the back. Any thoughts from owners? Or a photo would be great too. I'm part ginger so shade is super important. Never had either of my last boats out without a bimini up, even in winter.

i have that one on my 212 210.
pros- its pretty quick, i keep it on my boat all the time, folded and rolled when not using it. when i tow, i put several straps around all the material to keep it from flapping.
it does not rattle at all- it is solid
it is not $3500.00
cons- it is very high. you do not get a lot of sun coverage unless the sun is directly over head.
the arm contacts the drivers side panel when you fold tower to lowest position on the 210. if you tow with tower folded, you have to make sure it does not rub the cushion.
i always wedge a towel in between the two.
it is almost a two person job to flip it over and set it up. you have to move the rear supports to different hole locations and while you are working on one, the other moves
out of the grove before you get the pin in.2016 G23

We have one on a 2012 210 as well.
As Whitetail said, it doesn't provide a ton of coverage when the sun is a little lower. I also tend to take it off whenever we're not using it as it doesn't store all that well . That said, on sunny days it's an absolute godsend. And this is for the Netherlands, where we get comparatively little sun. Price should be closer to $800 AFAIK.
I can dig out a picture of it on our 210 if you want.

Thank you both for the very good info. Think I was quoted close to $1300 for this one. Might not work for me though based on your statements about amount of sun protection. I still would love some photos if its not too much trouble, or any other known options other than the z5 as I just can't afford it right now.
PS don't know lucky7, think I found that on boattrader in Oklahoma? Maybe?

For that kind of spend you can get a really nice one from Towerbiminis.com. They have both an under and over the tower version, they look great, provide a lot of shade and stow easily. If you go that route, pop the extra $ for the SS tubing and fittings, makes it almost bombproof.2008 230 TE-ZR6
