    Just a thought.
I wonder what the fees are to bring it south? Anybody know?

Found this.. might be little old, http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ates-8681.html . Should be no duties as the boat was built in the US, there might be some document fees and then state taxes when you register if applicable. I have done this a couple time but the other way (US to CDN) it wasnt too difficult if you do the reserach, get a 3rd party to inspect the boat for previous damage/working condition, call the boarder crossing you will be using to import to confirm the docuements required. Nothing worse then stuck at the boarder with the wrong papers.

if you're mission priority is surfing, then tubing, go 220. The 220 surf wake is really good, maybe one of the best in the lineup, IMHO, the 220 produces one of the better surf wakes in the Nautique lineup. The layout in the 220 is much more roomy than the 210, and the "humps" are very functional.
If you're thinking 210, definitely '07 and newer is the hull you want. Great wakeboard wakes (and much more versatile than the OG 210 hull ie. '95-06, and can surf pretty well.

You have some great advice in this thread, tell us what you end up with!

I think at this point it will come down to a 220 unless I stumble onto a good deal on a 210.

I appreciate the effort to educate me.

Have you seen this one in North Carolina? Its above your price range, but its got the bad *** ZR6 at 375 horse. Are there any 220's for less than 38K?

I'm somewhat in the same camp as you are and am looking at an SV211. Its a crossover. Have you considered it? What do you guys think for what his needs are? Seems they are going for high 30's and low 40's and some in the mid to low 30's.

I started a couple of threads on the 211 that you may want to check out.

Heres a clean looking 211 for 36K, low hours, relatively close to you. Trailer could be better.
