Hello all... New to the forum and just learned that my G23 landed at my nautique dealer. Spring can't get here soon enough. I was wondering if any of you that May hydrofoil have a good experience with a mounting or rack system for a sky ski. I have not purchased the hydro foil yet, but have found a used sky ski that is of interest. Thanks in advance for any input, and also for all the wealth of knowledge I have acquired while lurking on this site. Thanks a bunch!!!!

I have a foil rack. I am not sure where to put the dang thing. I experimented around last night with various locations. I think no matter where it goes, I lose something.
I think that the first place I am going to put it will be on the front vertical bar, just a little higher than the wakeboard rack. With a foil in the rack, it looks like I will not be able to have a wakeboard with boots in it in the top position. I cannot deploy the bimini in my garage, so I am not even sure it will be easily accessible. Just wanted to revive this thread and see if anyone else can chime in on how to make it work on this tower.

There is a yahoo foil group out there. There is a person in the North East part of the country that makes foil racks. I don't have the info at hand, but a bit of research should turn something up for you.
FYI...2 things. 1) I have foiled on Keuka lake when visiting a college buddy. 2) handle the Sky Ski a good bit before you get your mind set on a rack--a bit heavy and a bit large. I place mine upside down behind the drivers seat on the floor.

His name is Don Gergler. A search for Gergler racks should turn up something on him.
I still have not been out to the lake to see if the location I spoke of above will work.

I found what may work.
Here is a picture of a foil rack that still allows you to keep the stock rack in place and even use it. You have to buy an aftermarket rack. It could be spinning or stationary, and just mount it on the front tube, but lower than the stock rack. If you have a long Tbar, the wings will still be above the top of the tower, and it will be fairly easy to access the foil, especially if you lift up the seat on the port side, you can just stand right next to it. It isn't perfect, but that is the best solution I have come across. If you have a shorter strut, your wings will hit the tower and this will not work.

You also might want to get hold of these guys. They have made a pretty cool rack that works on the Roswell tower. Really nice guys too.

I've never heard of them making racks, and could not find any on their website. Where can I find it?

As an update to this thread, Comptech now makes an adapter that you can buy so that you can use the stock location.

And here is how I have been running it for the last 2 years:
