    2002 SANTE surf questions

    hey guys,

been working on the boat trying to get things ready for spring. I have been wakeboarding since the late 90s, 2 years ago i dislocated my knee on a double up and tore my acl, pcl, mcl and miniscus, was on crutches for 4 months, getting old is for the birds! its been very hard to get the strength and stability back in my knee where i feel comfortable enough to wakeboard. 5 months ago i found a great deal on my 2002 SANTE and jumped on it. But now i will be doing more surfing in the future, so im trying to get the boat set up for that. Ive been reading old post about ballast set up on these boats and i have a few questions. I have already pulled out the rear tanks and have the 750s on the way, i have the factory center tank that i would like to leave in for at least this season since my mod list is full, unless replacing with a locker sac would make a large difference. I planned on another large sac to move to either side in the seating area. but in the bow im trying to decide wether to get a sac to sit on top of the seats that can be moved to either side depending on rider, or if the integrated bow sac is the way to go? Which i would then need to cut out the cooler in the front drivers side, which is worthless to me anyways. I guess my question is will the surf wake suffer if i just do the integrated bow sac and the front is weighted completely or does the weight need to just be on the side that is being surfed?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated,
    Thanks!

Why not try some Fly High Fat Bricks - 155lbs - you can move them around to find the perfect wave. In my last boat i had three of them.. moving from the back to the bow, depending on how many people i had on the boat.
