hanging a CC from the lift rings

I am looking for any information as well as examples of how to hang a CC from the lift rings. I have a low water issue and need to hang the boat but no one around my area seems to know how to set up the boat house for a lift any images or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I would probably build support runners similar to trailer bunks rather than the lift rings, as this would give you more support points and less stress on the boat. What are you going to use to lift the boat?

I'm interested in this as well. About to construct a boathouse and would prefer to lift by rings but all the builders I've spoken to use cradles. With the constant drought conditions we've experienced in TX over the last several years I would prefer to use lifting rings so I get maximum water depth under my lift. Would really like to see some pics of how a lifting ring setup is constructed so I could show builders

The ones I've seen used metal pipes, belt driven by motors. The cables wrap around the pipes. Cc's can absolutely be hung in this manner, keep looking for a capable builder/engineer.

Our first place had this type of setup. It's the same lift used for the cradle style lifts held with cables. You just move the motor and pipe to the center of the slip. Then the cable hang straight down directly above the bow and transom rings. The front can just hook directly to the lift ring. The rear needs a spreader bar to allow you to hook both rings.

If you call Nautique they will recommend you use rings I have hung my 210 and now hang my G23 and have since 08. I have the motor on the pipe with 1 in the center that goes tho the front and 1on each side to the back so 3 am steel blue ropes to a hook on a pulley back pup to the block.. it works flawlessly

Before you hang it the first time, please inspect all of the hardware on the boat. IIRC, when I first looked at the bow ring on my 206 some of the hardware related to the threaded rod was loose.
