Is there a way to replace my current manual valves to the newer automatic valves. My dealer told me no, but I just guess I just don't understand? Has anyone done this or know anything about it?

There are no automatic valves from Correct Craft. The thing that has changed on the newer boats is the pumps. They stop the flow of water themselves without the use of seperate valves.
Here's what I did to solve the leaking valve problem on my 2003 SAN. Find a set of Asco explosion-proof valves and use them to replace the red Flow-Wrong valves. Wire them into the pumps so that they open when the pumps come on, and remain closed all other times. On my boat, this has worked extremely well. Now the valves and pumps work like they are supposed to.

That is basically exactly what I am looking for. Did you just take out the other valves? How did you get to the rear tank pumps to be able to do this? You don't happen to have pics do you? Looks like I may have a fun weekend ahead of me. This really the only complaint that I have with my 2002. It would be great to make this happen. Thanks for the info.

stick to the replacement thmarine valves, they are cheaper and cc should do the free replacement or give them to you for free! Dont add another electrical problem to a simple solution, KISS.
Mike
what ever you do, dont buy the new jabsco ballast pumps to retrofit your old system, buy the valves and maybe the tsnami pumps. just my 2cents.

mike-d makes a valid point. Correct Craft will replace the Flow-Wrongs with the T-H Marine valves free of charge, as long as you are the original owner of the boat. They will pay for parts only if you're the second owner.
I wanted a fully automatic system, and while the valves are pricy, they work very well. No more knobs under the dash, just turn the pumps on, then turn the pumps off. Very simple. Here's a close-up of the valve. You can see the part number pretty easily.
My Father-In Law owns a pneumatics business, and was able to get my valves at a low cost. Sorry, but I am not sure what retail is on these valves.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. I have a 2001 so it doesn't have the T-H valves. I wanted to use that valve for my locker sack that I've plumbed in. Currently, I'm using a sprinkler valve but I was considering changing it. ASCO website list that valve for $108.2008 Team Edition 210 - Black

if the sprinkler valve would only work at a higher flow rate, it would be perfect I remember way back when in my old excell, I ran a 1 inch sprinkler valves for my ballast system, just like the old hippo systems, it would only work when I had a high flow rate going thru them.

I'm going to keep it for this season. I don't have time to do all the upgrades before it's time to ride. Guess I'll hold off for another year. If someone caught me earlier, I would have.
I have the sprinkler valve now and it worked ok in another setup. However, I was hoping to be able to use another type valve but probably going to stick with what I got.2008 Team Edition 210 - Black
