    G21 Wake Versus G23 wake?

Now that I know we are leaning towards a G I would like to hear peoples opinions on the difference in wakes. We were recently behind the G21 and really liked the wake. Our water is hard right now so I thought I would hear what others have to say until we can get on water. I'm assuming the G23 should have a better wake for surfing and wake boarding, but how much better?

A test drive comparing both boats is the answer to your question. Make a list outlining what's important to you, score each boat, then decide. What a great problem to encounter.

For wakeboarding, which one is better is a matter of opinion. They both but out great wakeboard wakes in stock configuration. Can't comment on surf wakes.

Full ballast plus 2-3 hundred extra and NCRS on 5: The G21 is noticeably steeper with a bit shorter transition...more reminiscent of the original 210 hull and definitely steeper than the 2007-current 210. The G23 has a longer transition and is a bit less steep but still kicks at the end. In my opinion, the G23 is easier to ride--you can be out of position and recover because you're not getting as hard of a boot. I thought I'd like the G21 wake more because I've favored steeper wakes like my older 210 (Sport Nautique)--but I found the G23 suits me quite a bit better these days.

Outside of riding, the extra room of the G23 is nice--it feels quite a bit bigger inside.
