    Anyone in New York?

Ok, this might be kind of weird but I'm going out on a limb here.

I am looking at a 2003 210 being sold out of Mamaroneck NY. I live in northwest Indiana.

I was wondering if there was anyone close enough to this place that would be willing to just go and look it over for me.

Obviously I will pay for your time and if you want, even ship out beer. Because who doesn't like beer.

    Thanks.

What is your time frame on this? I live about 5 hours from there and may possibly be down there in the next month or so. I know not overly helpful but figured I would throw it out there.

Was the boat primarily used in the sound, would be concerned if it was a salt water boat. Give Eric Svensson a call at Lake Hopatcong Marine, they are about 60 miles away and may be able to help or guide you towards a surveyor. They are a BU dealer however Eric is a CC guy at heart. Another option is fly into White Plaines to check it out. May also want to post on CCFan as perhaps there is a member there nearby who could possibly take a look for you. Good Luck!

Not entirely sure, It could take a month. He says he has the boat shrink wrapped right now. I'm going to see when/if he plans to open it it, otherwise it might not be worth it.

I have asked the guy several time now and he claims it had never been used in salt water, but I still want to have it looked over before buying it.

I'll give Eric a call and see what he thinks.

I'm about 2 hours from there on Long Island. I take it your looking at the 2003 white and yellow 210? The boat is located pretty close to the sound but there are several small fresh water lakes near by as well. I could possibly take a look this upcoming week on my drive up to Vermont. If it is the yellow and white 210 judging by the photos on craigslist I can say that the boat hasn't seen salt water judging by the trailer unless it was replaced. I have a 2000 air and its never seen fresh water and the trailer was in much worse shape than the 2003 5 years ago. By the looks it is a fresh water boat but I could possibly take a closer look next week.

Cool boat, love those colored decks and looks like it has a black platform!! Agree with Dave, in the Pics it looks clean other then the missing decals however based on where the pic was taken it could also be a racked boat too so the trailer may not be a good indicator if it was a salty or not.

Dave that would be awesome! Let me know if you do get a chance to check it out. And yes it is the yellow and White 210. The guy said it is the original trailer the boat came with, but like you said it could have been racked.
