Considering Titanium Faux Teak Seadek on SANTE 220

I am considering getting the Titanium Seadek for my 07 SANTE 220. I'm planning on doing the interior and transom for now, then getting the platform done later. Nautiqueparts.com has the complete interior kit for $700 and the transom for $115. Seems like a pretty good price for all the pieces that are included. Can anybody get better pricing than that? Any complaints with the titanium teak seadek? Does it get dirty easily? Do stains come out easily? Does it get damaged easily? Does it provide good grip? Is it hot on your feet? Pros and cons vs carpet? Has anybody made any custom templates for the 220 bow or any other areas that don't come with the kit? Pictures if you have them.

Also, Is it difficult to remove the original Nautique non skid material? What type of prep work do you have to do before installing seadek? What type of degreasers do you use before laying it down?

Nautique parts gives forum members 10%. Seadek is great stuff! I havent bit the bullet yet because I've been on the fence for a bigger boat. My 220 is a 06 so it gives off a insane wake for goofy footed people

Thanks Silver Surf, I placed an order with nautiqueparts.com earlier this week to get some gas springs for the seats and did not realize the 10% off. I did realize it before ordering the SeaDek though. I placed the order last night. I was able to get a couple other things since I used the discount. I saved about $95 overall. Not bad. ETA is about 3 weeks. I'll post a picture after I install it.

You will LOVE the Sea Deck! I would get the platform asap. I actually had instances where the SANO pinched skin on guests.

Just did the seadek on my 220. It's awesome. You will need to fill the carpet screw holes under the helm and in the bow. The others are pretty much covered up. I also had to lift the drivers seat to get the center section to line up.

Also, I would recommend replacing the screws that hold the jump seat platforms down to flat head vs rounded. That way the seadek lays flat.

Here it is. I ended up doing the entire boat including the transom and swim platform. Nautiqueparts.com had all the pieces on their website, so I didn't have to make any templates for the pieces. The 10% discount was awesome. Next I want to do the top of the bow nose and the trailer fenders.

jonnydeez , Im thinking about doing this on my 06 220. is it hard to remove the old SANO? approx how long did it take? How hard is it to put down the new Sea Deck, esp the bigger pieces?

It's not too difficult on the interior pieces. It took about 30 min on the interior. The platform was a PITA. Took about 3hrs. I used a bondo application spreader tool to get under the corner of the SANO, and worked it till I could get a grip to pull the rest off. It's very brittle and will start cracking. The toughest part is removing the adhesive. I used acetone and a cloth. Well worth the labor though.

I used a wagner heat gun from Lowes to help soften the glue as well. So a plastic putty knife and the heat gun, then acetone and rags to soak the adhesive, it took a while to get it off the platform, maybe a few hours total.

I think it depends on how long its been cooked in the sun, if it is dry rotted already and super brittle and a couple other factors like if it was ever treated to try to keep the SANO soft.... I needed a pair of leather glove too, cause that SANO stuff stayed hot for a bit longer than I thought it would.

Man I wish that Platform was still $115. Its 399.00 Now. I can only imagine what the interior would cost, since its not even listed on their site any longer.
