looks like $440, or $480 depending if you need a flapper(?) or not and this is direct from FAE.

The factory version is way better, goes through hull and has a flange for the pipe.
Aftermarket needs brackets and clamps and tubes etc, it works but the factory version is a better piece.

Sad thing is. I bought the boat and asked them to install it before taking delivery. After the install they told me the price. I should have asked up front but I never imagined 1200 bucks. Freaking crazy!

I would agree that the factory pipe is a much cleaner look, especially without the rubber clamp, but I don't know that it's 3 times better. In any event the plus side is it looks sweet and you will love the noise reduction.

I had the FAE on my G23 but with all the warranty debate I switched to the factory surf pipe. I was told with the FAE I would have to splice out the muffler to lower the back pressure but when the surf pipe was installed by the dealer they did not splice out the muffler.

If you want the look of the factory, order it from Nautiqueparts.com and install it yourself. If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed with the FAE, less money and who sees it when your in the water.
