G21 weight question

My G21 breaks the port wake. It seems it is due to such a big propeller. It needs about 200 pounds to compensate. Anybody there with the same problem? which load are you using?
I am currently using the ballast system to compensate but I would like a cleaner option. Any suggestion?

I use the ballast system and people on board to compensate, others just put some lead into the lockers.

All 3 Gs have a more even wake with a few hundred pounds on the port side. Both the older 1.4:1 transmission with the smaller prop and the newer 2:1 prop with the larger prop have the same characteristic.

is it best to put the 200 in the port trunk or under the observer seat?

I use a 400lb fly high sac in port locker and fill all factory ballast. Works great even with just driver and rider.

I thought I read here on PN many months ago that CC would send you lead (or include with the G purchase) to offset the listing of the boat. My dealer told me that was not true. Anyone here otherwise?

our dealer was pretty adamant against lead for my 210 as it is "negative ballast" (still heavy even if the boat fills with water) as opposed to Fat Sacks which are neutral ballast. i find it hard to believe that Correct Craft would supply the lead.

No, I don't think that is something that Nautique would do.

My G23 does the same thing. I have a hand signal that means move your butt to the other side of the boat, and they usually get it after I've been trying to signal it for about 5 minutes. I don't think I am ever going to remember to tell them before I take off.

On my G23 I use 2 Fly High 150lbs square bags with handles on top and put next to seat on port side or on top of seats if just driver, spotter and rider. . Handles are nice so I can move them around wherever I want to. I also put them on the same side I surf on.
