Weighting 2003 SANTE

After a three year hiatus I picked up another 2003 SANTE over the weekend. My last one I just filled the factory tanks and put bags in the floor and the bow. I want to avoid that this time around. What size sacs are you guys using in the rear lockers after removing those stupid hard tanks? Also will the factory aerator pump fill a bow bag that is piggy backed off the belly hard tank? Someone told me you could cut out the front cooler and fit a bag all the way around under there. I want to say I saw a DIY thread on here a few years back doing that but couldn't find it using the search feature or a good ole Google search. TIA!

Yep that helped. Not sure why the guy didn't cut it up into smaller pieces to remove it though. Seems easier than fighting it in one piece. So wakemakers makes a bow sac that will plumb right in to the factory pumps?

So wakemakers says with factory pumps you can't piggyback a bow sack off the belly tank. So do the pumps need to be replaced, add a fourth fill pump, or just put an extension on the bow bag under the seat so I can fill it easily with a manual pump?

I just cut the front cooler out of my 2003 SAN. I ended up cutting the cooler into pieces and it worked pretty good. I went to harbor freight and picked up a variable speed multifunction air tool. Took about two hours taking my time. Just watch out for the wires that run through the plastic tube attached to the cooler.

I ordered the bow sac from Wakemakers and took the overflow from the belly tank and connected it to the front bag, then the over flow from the bag to the thru hull on the boat. It's certainly not the best or fastest way, but it works....

do the 1100lb bags fit in the rear lockers, or are the 750s the biggest you can go?

750s will actually pop open the rear hatches if you don't watch out. I would think the 1100's would be overkill.

So this will actually work with the existing original aerator pumps? The guy at wakemakers swore up and down it would not. This is what I was originally thinking about doing. I don't care if it takes a while to fill and empty it can do that on the way to the riding spot and empty on the way back. If this works do you mind sending me the link to the one you bought. I do plan to just pull rear tanks and use 750's.

It will work. I have an integrated bow sac under the seats and 750's in the rear. Everything is controlled by the original aerator pumps.

In my 05' I pulled the stock tanks and valves. 750s in the rear with anti siphon valves. I run the stock belly tank with the big triangle on the seats. Plumbed in a johnson under the dash with its own thru hull. Ordered this bulk head fitting and mounted it on the wall of the walk through under the bow filler with a short section of hose that is removable when not in use. https://flow-rite.com/products/marin...ngs/ma-072-qlb
Loose the bow seats this way but bow sac under the seats in our boats won't allow the bag to fill fully.
