2015 Overton's Battle of the Brands at Falls Lake, Durham, NC

The 2015 Overton's Battle of the Brands is happening Saturday, May 2, at Rollingview Marina on Falls Lake in Durham NC! The event starts at 11:00 AM.

If you are in the area, you NEED to check out this event! This is one of the most fun events of the year for me, and over the past couple of years, this event has exploded in popularity. It is so much fun!

The event consists of all of the major wakeboard manufacturers and boat manufacturers bringing their products out for people to demo. More and more of the companies are sending out pro riders to help promote their products, and this year is no exception! You can come out and ride the brand new gear of your choice and get instruction from some of the best pro riders in the world! For Free! You can't beat that!

Each boat manufacturer is allowed to bring one boat. The PLANETNAUTIQUE G23 will represent Nautique at this event again this year. Come on out and ride!

In all the years I have been at events and stops I have never seen Dano ride.

My son skied with Danny on the Aquanuts, he is a solid all around skier however where he really stands out is on a trick ski, watched him take best trick skier at the wisco show ski state tourney one year, want to say he took it at nationals at least once as well. Also very good on shoe ski's. Great guy for Sure!!

Jeff, that event looks really cool, any slalom gear there or skiing pro's??

No, no slalom equipment at this event unfortunately. That picture above is actually Dano getting ready for a trick ski run behind my G. It was crazy! After he skied, Bob got out there on the trick ski too. It was Bob's first trick ski run ever, and he killed it too! Fun times!

I was an Aqua Jay for many years. I get to the Aquanut show at least 2 or 3 times a season. Our neighbors daughter was long time member. Bout 15-20min ride from our lake.

Janesville, wow, been to Traxler park many a times, RAJ is a great organization. We were with the Nuts starting in 99'ish, been out of it for a while now but do also like to get up to Twin Lakes for a few shows each summer. Need to follow you next time you go, made that drive from LV to TL many a time and it was always 25-30 mins for me.
