    Footboard material???

    Does anyone know what the material is that the footboard is made of...I am putting a sub under the driver consol and have to make a custom panel to cover the hole. I took the carpet off it and it looks like some kind of White plastic type material? Primarily I want to know where i can buy some of it??? Any help would be appriciated.

    I think it is starboard. You can get it at BoatUS or West Marine.

    There is no reason you can't just use plywood though.

      As far as subs go, I kinda like the sound using MDF wood a little better than plywood. But it's just personal preference.

        I used plywood and fiberglassed over it. It's worked fine.
