    Wakesurfing setup Super Air Nautique

    Hey guys. I know this topic has been discussed many times but after three years, i'm still struggling to dial in my wakesurfing wake. Here's my current setup;

    2012 SANTE 230 with NSS
    Fly High Pro X plumbed over factor tanks (+ 560 lbs total)
    Fly High Pro X 750 lbs on the bow floor.

    We've experimented with every speed and weight combo we can think of and can get a decent wake (especially lengthwise) but struggle with a good push unless the wake gets very steep and much shorter.

    Any suggestions?

    I have a G23 so don't know the 230 well but I can tell you that you need more weight in the rear..... about triple of what you have (750's on each side). You should see a big difference with the weight. Once you do that you will probably want more weight in the bow too... if the 230 has bow factory ballast then you should be good but if not you will probably want about 1,000 to 1200 lbs in the bow

      Have you tried less bow weight? Thought I'd heard somewherel that the 230's didn't need the weight up front.

        Huh, I think I was told at one point that bow weight was what i needed. Gets very confusing . . . .

            I was told the more weight in the back the wake gets taller and shorter in length. The more weight in the bow it gets shorter and longer in length. So its best to have a 50/50 ratio. I'm still trying to dial mine so I cannot make any promises.

              I had a 2009 230 (same hull) and had a great wave. I used factory ballast (rear tank full for whichever surf side, and the belly almost full. I also has some lead tubes I would move to either side on top of the rear tanks (probably 200-300# worth), and couple lead tubes under the bow (again prob 200-300#) To make it even better we would put a sack on the floor in front of the rear seat. I am 6'1" 240# and could surf around the lake all day on a crappy surfer... Nautiques for life has a good point, lake depth? I'd say if less than 8-10' that can affect the wave some.

                Few questions.
                1. What board are you using?
                2. What speed?
                3. Are 100% sure nss in engaged ?

                Ditch the front bag
