    Bow ballast/Arrow sac for 2012 230 w/nss? What model?

Any comments/thoughts about adding additional ballast to the bow? I have the pro ballast setup (750's in the rear lockers) installed, but feel that the wake is better when we have several larger people in the front of the boat. Problem is we usually only have my wife/I and our young kids when surfing. Any comments thoughts on ballast setup for on a 230 would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Seth

I like the arrow sac because it keeps the under seat storage available for pfd's and ground tackle, sand spike, etc., and I read somewhere that having the ballast under the deck improve the way the boat handles. It is pricey, however, others put a tube sac in the ski locker.

In the newer 230's the front tank is a different shape, because of this, the arrow sack will not fit. Plus, there's not a floor locker/door to access this area as it's full of ballast tank!
if you want additional weight up front, you'll need either the under bow seat or the big triangle sack that sits on top of the seats.

Anyone have the under the seat piggyback ballast system able to give a quick review? Those who have it where do you keep your bow anchor/sea spike? You trust them on/next to a ballast bladder? I like the idea of leaving this storage available, but need the bow weight and don't want to have to manually fill/drain ...anyone have a great solution for a 2012 230?

Can you use lead or Pop bags? I don't know exactly how much weight the under seat sack holds in the 230, but it gets pretty full. I've ridden a 230 with stock + Fly Hi 750
s in the rear, and a triangle ~1000# in the bow, and the wake is very nice. Not as big as a G, but great shape and a nice lip at the top.

Not to hijack the thread; but I know in my case I do too much trailering and motor boating around the river to run lead/other forms of perma ballast
