    NEW ADVISORY FROM PCM

Although this comes from PCM, it is good for every boat owner to read:

PCM has issued a Product Awareness Update # SUP2006-001 to inform dealers and boat owners of the consequences of excessive water in the bilge of the boat. The update covers the topics of how water gets in the bilge, why it stays in the bilge, what damage this water creates and lastly, hot to prevent this situation from occurring. For more information, visit http://www.pcmengines.com/NewFiles/SUP2006-01.pdf.

I believe CC announced something simultaneously.

Seems like the underlying point in the article is that people fill their bilge as a way of adding ballast. How much of a moron could you possibly be to seriously do this?
