trade ssn for sunsettler lx ... crazy?

There is a local dealer that has a lx that looks to be in good shape. They are selling it for someone. I am thinking about trading.

I have 2001 ssn w/ tower, racks, spreakers, gt40, NO PP, NO BALLAST (PLUMBED).

Lx, has low hours, new int, new covers, tower, crappy speakers, wedge, pp Malibu pp.

Why am I doing this, kids (8 and under) skis, wife skis, I board, but good not great.

They have it listed for 19.9k, I am thing the can get 22 23k for mine. So I am think of asking for trade plus 1500 in dealership credit.

Have you always had the SSN? If you have, or had it for a while, you at least have "history" on it. You could buy the Bu and end up with problems (mech, elect, engine?). If you are worried about PP, just install it and be done with it.

Thanks, I have had it for 3 years, it is a fine boat, but skiing is so-so at best. We all like skiing on my dad's cobalt 190 over our 210 ssn. (Even if I drag the lake a mile to get up). Wife and kids pop up with little effort.

Owner of lx is dr, service regular and seams all good.
