    Went a little heavier here:

11.7mph, NCRS 4, NSS 2. 2850 OEM+ ~1000ish in the rears and 500 lead mid and bow, full gas and 4 on board. I'm 6ft for reference. What's the big deal??

2900 RPM! on the 16x16, absolutely effortless.

That wave looks to have some serious energy… And those are some low RPM's to be pushing that tsunami along!

Ok, by the way I ran this weekend this should have been an 8gph weekend. Here are the stats for the OJ 16x16:

174.5 start, 180.9 end, 93oct, 6.4hrs total, 42.26 Gals, 6.6Gph. Mixed light to heavy use.

So a conservative estimate would be that the 16x16 would save 1.5gph on average, or almost $20 for me this weekend alone, and kept me from having to get an additional fill up to get through the weekend. Last year the lowest I saw was just over 7gph, feathering the throttle. This would have been an 8gph average weekend for me....6.6gph hammering it often. Not as fast acceleration as the 16x15, but better than the OEM 15x14, with a 15-20% fuel savings.

Are there any plans to play with a different amounts of cup? Or does that affect top end and not much bottom?

Are you saying both rear lockers has 1000# in each? A total of 500# spread across mid and bow or 500# in mid and 500# in bow?

What a great wave but it's crazy to see that 550 spinning below 3,000 RPMs.

No, roughly 750lbs on the surf side and 250-400lbs on the other. The extra 500 I describe is lead in the bow and 3x 80lb? Srm29 batteries behind the driver.

Next time I go out, I will go pretty big, dial it in and do a video of the setup and the wave.

                All--

I stopped in today at OJ Props manufacturing facility and met Eric Johnson. First class guy all the way. If you're looking for a new or backup prop take a look at OJ. Top shelf stuff built right in TN next to many of the other towboat manufacturers.

Would this prop be worth it at elevation?
