No. The whole seat lifted up. That's custom.

Yep my whole seat lifts up too just like all of them, but I saw this pic on this one a guy was selling on here. So he must have modified it I suppose.

I don't understand why anyone would do that. It decreases the functionality of the storage area dramatically.

Assuming the bottom still comes up and isn't permanently attached I like it better. That is one thing I liked about our pervious Malibu, the two part seat. Pulling up just the back to throw a bag in was much easier than the whole seat.

In the G boats its not that bad. The whole seat hinges up. But in the 210s where the seat base comes with it I was not a fan. I know there was line in the carpet to see where the base came down. But sometimes when the compartment is full things never want to stay in place while closing the seat.

You said that perfectly.. If the bottom still comes up when needed and you could pop open just the back to throw a bag in.
That would be cool. Stuff always seem to get in the way of the seat base when opened up. That's all

I do like that. If someone is sitting there (like just hanging out in a cove somewhere) and you want to get in there briefly, you don''t have to ask them to get up... Just slide over a bit.

Poor design IMHO. No one else looks to make sure everything is clear when they push down the seat, I am afraid a corner will catch a life jacket and then bend/break the seat. Everything needs to be perfectly organized before shutting it...it sucks in that regard. The MC had 2 pieces that, to me anyway, made a lot more sense for getting things out on the fly. Could be a nice little additional feature if it were a relatively simple thing to fix...wishful thinking

Was there, or is there a cooler door option for the walkway?? I have seen one advertised here and on ebay. I think you have to cut out the fiberglass and mount the door, but that would allow you to get access to 80% of the storage area without having to lift up the seat/seat base.

Somebody was talking about adding one of the cooler doors to his OG 210 but not sure if he ever went through with it. One concern that was brought up when he was discussing it was whether or not the walkway was wide enough for the door to flip down fully. The walkway is pretty narrow in those boats compared to the newer ones.

I do like the above mod if it could be done where you could still lift it all the way if needed. I wonder how it was done? I would love to see some pics of the backside to see if they reinforced anything or just cut the hole and added struts.
