    NCRS 2015

When you manually switch the NCRS while surfing, the position is highlighted on the link as you move it with the button. When the NCRS is in auto , I'm sure the plate moves , but the position is never referenced on the link screen, it always stays the same. Why is that?

Are you talking about NCRS (Trim Tab) or NSS (Surf Tabs)?

NCRS trim tab. maybe i was not clear, sorry. On the link screen the position of the NCRS trim tab is numbered 1-5. The position it is in has a circle around it while surfing. You can move the position with the up down arrows on the link. The position changes and a new number with position is has the circle around the number.

In the AUTO position when the NCRS adjusts by itself to the best position for the conditions (speed, ballast, intensity) the numbers 1-5 with the circle , never move. The link screen never shows the position (the circled number) that the NCRS is in, or that is moving.

Is this normal- or just my boat?

White, I'm not tracking there is Auto NCRS while surfing. auto NCRS is only for wakeboard speeds.

So that's why it's not lit. I think auto NCRS should work for surfing, but Jeff and others don't see utility in it, so we haven't got visibility on it to Nautique leadership.

not talking surfing... wakeboard speeds or back to dock settings user settings. This is when auto is used. Why does the screen not show the plate moving when the computer adjusts the settings in auto..

If you have it on number 1 ..... it stays on number one the entire time.... even if the NCRS is moving. The circled number never changes.

White, what speeds are you at when you are doing this?

Let's uae this as example to be more clear.
Auto setting and user setting back to dock
From start I would expect to see ncrs plate at 1 until boat planes then work it's way up threw the numbers as max speed is reached say over 25
Then if you went into a turn the probably returns to 1 or lower setting to try keep boat on plane or nose down until a faster speed is reached
It probably does this but the link screen and circled number does not show the position moving by itself. The same number position with circle around it never changes.

I understand what you mean. Mine does not change on the gauge either, although I am sure it is working, due to the change in attitude of the boat. It doesn't bother me, but it would be nice to see it running through the various positions as you get up to plane for wakeboarding. I think the only time I would really need that feature is if I thought it was broken.

You got that backwards. 1 is all the way down, 5 is all the way up. So in back to dock it should be set at 1 from the factory unless someone changed it.

For my understanding... if the NCRS is in automatic mode, you don't see any movement on the display. The system moves the plate up and down to hold your "setup", so there is no sense to show the actual movement of the NCRS in real time. Hmm, hard to explain with my poor english....

                      Same understanding here.

If I remember correctly on mine when it is in Auto the icon at the bottom of the NCRS numbers is highlighted and says AUTO. When taking off the AUTO is highlighted. Once ZO takes over and you feel the rear drop (we wakeboard in 5) the AUTO is no longer highlighted. But anytime I make a sharp turn or cause the computer to take over AUTO is highlighted again. Once back in a straight line and everything is returned to normal AUTO is no longer highlighted.
