400 versus 750 additional ballast for Sport 200V

Is there any consensus on the best approach for additional ballast for the Sport 200V? Piggy back 400lbs ontop of the stock ballast or remove the stock tanks and plumb in 750lbs? In either case is the rear storage completely lost?

    Thank you.

I just switched from hard tanks and 400 bags to 750 bags alone and it is an awesome change. You do not lose any storage in fact when not filled you gain. The draining problem of piggy backed bags goes away too. even after setting my piggy backed bags up with the internal vent tubes they still didn't drain correctly, it's a pita. we switch from slalom, wakeboard, trick, and surf several times an outing and the draining issue had to be addressed, the 750's are the answer

      Thanks 81nautique,
Did you have to buy extra hose and fittings? I see you moved the battery, any other modifications necessary?
Are you running additional ballast up front too

Yes you will need to extend the factory fill hose about 10-12". I used all quick disconnect fittings but I already had them from the piggy back set up. I run a vee sack up front, 600 I believe but it is not plumbed in and we only use it when surfing not boarding.
