    Sport 1998 Vs 2005 SN206 Vs Malibu Sunsetter LX / replace SSN/SAN 2001

I have two guys looking at buying my 2001 Super Sport and I wanted to ask what you all what think about these few options.

The only reason that I am selling my 2001 SSN 210 (SAN) is because I have 3 little kids and they want to ski and wakeboard. (age 6 9 and 12).
The 12 year old wakeboards (mostly)
    The 9 year old skis
And the 6 year old will be starting this summer.
My wife skies as well and she like to ski at 22-26. Only 5 foot 2, small frame under 125 lbs.
I ski and board (avg to good for a 39 year old been skiing for 32 years).

Looking for something “User Friendly” for kids and wife to ski and board.

    Details on the boat options.
Sport is listed here for 15900, ballast tank with pump and 1st gen tower.
Have a deal set up on 2005 SN206 with Tower and racks, but no Ballast in rear for 22k. with 400 hours.
Last is a local dealers 2000 Sunsettler LX with PP, their first gen tower, center ballast bag and wedge for 19k.

The End goal is something is good for both wakeboarding and skiing. If I could get a SV211 for 22k I would be all over that for seating space and layout over a DD but I do not see me finding one of those.

In 5 to 8 years we should have the funds to jump to the current 200V (best guess is those should be in the 32k-38k range then with 300-400 hours)

I've never spent much time in a sport nautique....

I had a 2000 Sunsetter LXi, with the monsoon motor. It got crowded with more than a couple people. For seating, you got the drivers seat, the observer seat, which you can maybe put 2 people (if they are small), then the rear bench which is useless if you are skiing off the ski pole and not the tower. The Sunsetter series does have the bow with full seating, unlike the Response that had the step over walk way with a forward facing bench. Storage on a LX vs. an LXi is a bit more cramped as well. The LXi had a "trunk" to put skis, boards, tubes, whatever in. It probably has a Titan tower, which.... shook... a lot... from what I remember.

The 206 is going to be pretty similar to the Sunsetter layout wise, but I think those had rear trunk with gull wing lids to add a bit more storage space to the boat. It is also 5 years newer. didn't mention if it has perfect pass or not, but that tends to prevent a bunch of arguments. This is also the only newer boat, so you could consider that an upgrade as well.

This doesn't even begin to talk about what trailers they are sitting on, not sure if that makes any difference or not.

      Thanks,
Sunsettler has two2 jump seats. I know that the dd are going to be less skiable with 7 or 8 people but vdrive is less as well with 7 or 8 people.

Sunsettler has rear ski points when the two correct crafts do not.

Sport does not have pp, but can be added with cost diff. Lx has it, but speed fixed only works on rpm. 206 has it and working.

I can say the 206 does have alot of storage in the back as Nuke said, plus there is more under the observer seat and bow. Mine also has the extended observer seat and a jump seat so seating is ok even tho it is a direct drive; however, it has all the storage because there is not ballast. For us, I'm a skier and just learning wakeboarding and surfing so it puts enough of a lip on the wake when you put that wake gate down. That feature would be important as would the trailer - we needed the tandem axle Ramlin - its awesome.

Wish this one had the wider seat, but it does not. Could I buy one?
