Nautique warranty

Hi . When a nautique is sold to a second owner , and the warranty has to be transfered into there name , For which you have to pay a pretty pricey fee( which just in my opinion i think is bull crap, i mean if they are going to guarantee there parts or workmanship it shouldn't matter who owns it, but anyway),does the transfered warranty then only cover parts for the time period , and not labour.

Yes, parts only for the second owner.

What about existing problems the boat has had since new.once its sold do they no longer have to sort out existing problems.the new owner then has to pay for labour do they.

There is usually a separate cost (or used to be) for transferring the hull warranty and motor warranty each.... I always have thought this was a little excessive. None the less, people keep lining up to buy 100K plus boats....

I had to pay 3 seperate transfers. Which they did not tell me , nor did the paperwork say it was parts only.i was under the impression that it was full warranty. But since i have found out i woould of thought that existing problems that havent been fixed properly should be fully covered under warranty.

And just to add i didn't know there was a warranty transfer payment when i bought the boat second hand otherwise i would have adjusted my offer on the boat accordingly.
