    1.5" intake for ballast question

So there isn't much room around my intake with the ball valve on my 99 SAN for ballast hoses. Has anyone made a solid manifold for 3 1" hoses? I tried to make a PVC manifold but it came loose at the 90° off of the ball valve. PVC glue did not hold. The manifold has to be low so the pumps will pick up the water..... Tsunami 1200 pumps(brand new). Wished I would have bought jabsco... Would have been easier.

The pumps will need to be threaded right into the manifold. Use a bronze 90 on the thru-hull before the bronze ball valve. This keeps the manifold as low in the bilge as possible. You need a PVC fitting that MPT threaded x slip-fit. PVC glue will hold, did you use the purple primer?

That is what I did, forgot.... 90° to the ball valve... But it is really close to the engine mount and transmission. I made a 1.5" PVC manifold but was too long to attatch it to the ball valve so I used a flexible 1.5" house a routed it under the engine mount. The flex pipe came loose from the ball valve. That is why I wanted to make a solid manifold
