they will just replace the pads. It is a messy job to get all of the old glue removed. I think they give you an hour or less to do the work.

I sould have given a little more info. Correct Craft has sent replacement pads (grey). Looking at the material, it looks like the same as the black. So rather than peeling, scraping, and fighting to get the old pad and glue off, I thought I'd ask if there was any aftermarket items you could use and eliminate the problem. The boat is stored on a lift in Hawaii and is suject to salt and warm temperature all year. Looks like I may need to replace it with the grey.

OPTION TWO - take the replacement pads and trace the outline on some sheets of gator grip or astrodeck material.

Yo Ried, thanks for stepping up to the plate to solve the problem on my '05 SV-211. I have tried 303 and it works a little, but it also makes the non-slip surface...well...slippery.

The black material is clearly not designed properly. I had problems within the first 3-4 months of owning the boat. I'm glad that Nautique sent the grey replacement pads, but will this really fix the problem? It looks like the gray pads are the same material? In any event, I'm confident Nautique will make it right, as they always do. That's the nice thing about buying a Nautique, they don't play games with their customers, they just fix the problem. If it wasn't for their customer service, I probably would have bought another boat.

for just the labor maybe,, but from the point of purchasing a new platform just on the grounds that the non-skid is chalking... i dunno about that...
