Best Board Racks for FCT2 Tower

Have the FCT2 tower on my 2001 SAN and it has the old style wake design racks on each side. One of them is bent and they are both loose and screws are stripped. Looking to put a new set of racks on the boat but want some input on what you guys like. Not looking to spend stupid money what they want for flight clips either...trying to keep it somewhat reasonable.

These spinner racks are posted in the For Sale section by a PN member. They should fit your 2001 tower. Might PM him and see if they are still available.

Are there any cheaper options? I mainly just need one, in black, for a surfboard.

Edit- For a 2001 Super Air 210. Not 100% sure what tower it is, its OEM.

Should be the gen 2 tower. 1-7/8" is the diameter you'll need. A quick google search for tower rack surfboard should bring up some options.

Would something like this be what I needed?

These were recommended to me by a buddy. He has a FCT 2 on his 2003 Air and says he has never had a problem. They are probably the least expensive racks you will find ($99). I've been using them for a couple of weeks and the only problem I have had is the bungee that came with is too short to go around my wake surfer. I just bought 10' of bulk bungee for $8 that will take care of the problem.

Yeah the one from billet lines looks good. It's big enough arms for a surfer. Pretty good on price too.

I like the Bullet Lines Racks... I've about given up my search for Flight Clips so I might give those a try as well.

I have had the Bullet Lines racks on my NDT for over 2 seasons now and they have worked great. I got the quick release ones because I have to take them off to fit in my storage shed. No complaints at all. I got one triple rack with a surf slot in the middle and one standard rack. If there is no surfer in the triple rack then the bungee is a little loose but I just loop it back to the top and it works perfectly. I think they look pretty good on that tower too. I was never a big fan of flight clips as they don't play well with closed toe bindings on the inside rack and they seem to dump water on the driver and passengers more than other racks.

I hear ya on the disadvantages to flight clips. Yeah I think they look good, even like the functionality of being able to pull up to other boats/docks with poles for the roof and not need to space yourself so much. But the simple fact they dump water on the driver/passenger for 15 minutes is enough to turn me away. Oh yeah and they cost an arm, a leg, and half my left nut. No thanks.

That is another reason that I like the quick release Bullet Lines racks. If needed you can pop a rack off in about 30 seconds if you need the space to raft up or tie up to a dock with pilings.

Also Britt, I meant to ask, you already flip boats and upgrade to a SAN? If so nice work on that!

Yes I did. Didn't see it happening that fast but came up on a deal I couldn't resist! Wishing I wouldn't have gave that bimini to the guy I sold the boat too, just had my SAN out this weekend and broke pieces of the framework on that bimini. Honestly I never even unpacked the bimini you sent me. Went in the bed of his truck, noodles and all!

Haha, ya the FedEx guy at the counter had a pretty good laugh about the pool noodles as well.

check out Wholesalemarine.com, they have tons of bimini parts if you think your new one is repairable.
