PCM Warning about water in the Bilge

PCM says one of the way's water gets in the bilge is people adding water to the bilge to add weight for the wake??????????

#1 Who does this?
#2 Is this for real?
#3 If someone here does this or has done it would they be stupid enough to admit ! LOL

I have seen many people do this. We use to do it to fit the boat under bridges and stuff. Of course we would pump the water out right away.
