Thoughts on 97 Sport Nautique price, etc..

Is the price for this '97 reasonable? By chance, has anyone in the Raleigh NC area looked at this boat? Just looking for some guidance. Thanks.

First question is what is the Hull Id No?? Most or maybe all 97's had the euro slant back at the stern, so it could be a 98'?? HIN will tell you.
Boat looks very clean and well cared for in the pics

Great example of a 97/98 sport, this what I was looking for initially. Provided the DD is what you are looking for this seems like a great option. IMHO it not a great "deal" but considering the timing, hours and shape of the boat, provided this will fit your needs it looks to be worth a closer look. GT 40 must be a blast to drive in that boat as well. Good luck

I think this boat could be a great deal if the condition is as good as it appears. Particularly if it is a 98.

I'd prefer an actual '97, less storage but better wakeboarding wake.

Good deal opportunity if it checks out this time of the season. It actually seems to be a late 97/early 98 due to the trunk and tansom.

Thanks, everyone. The owner sent me the HIN and it is a 98. Having researched mastercraft more, I wouldn't have noticed the Nautique year difference. So thanks a lot for pointing that out.
I may look at it tomorrow. Owner said there was some wiggle room in price, so we will see.

Huh? I know the deck changed to add the trunk but pretty sure the running surface remained unchanged so the wakes should be about the same.

That seems like a good deal if it is in as good as shape as it appears and you like the colors. It is an after market tower but it looks pretty good compared to a lot of the other generic tower options.
