A while ago I had asked if anyone had hung a CC or had any info and there wasn't much out there, but I have finally been able to do this due to low water levels. It was a bit of an effort to get some one to do it but finally we found some one here in NC who did a great job. I had to do some of the things myself like finding a spreader bar, developing the hooks and cables but we are almost there. The back cables will rub the rail so I used a pair of covers for the poles on the trailer to cover them and have used a some clevis rings to make attaching and detaching easier. The lift is a GEM remote unit with two motors on standard winders with short pipes.
Most importantly I had to reinforce the boat house in multiple areas with either steel or the aluminum structure beams from the hoist- we were able to use all of the original parts form my hoist with some steel beams and to build up the ceiling and walls. A friend of mine builds elevators so this is way over built but should be able to with stand the weight and a hurricane!! Here are some pictures. Hope this helps some of you who were asking for details
