Joe, you have my attention! I used to have an X45 with the hydraulic steering and would love to have it again. I hope that you post pictures and give me full instructions and I will follow your lead. I am not sure it would be worth me buying an entirely new boat, but I would not hesitate to have the hydraulic steering. I did not even think of it as an aftermarket modification.

I've heard banter of a G200 to replace the Sport 200. I've read the 200V hasn't been the best seller, so the new model would have all the slalom capabilities, with additional wake and surf attributes. I do have a hard time believing this is true though.

I have heard clamping racks just aren't there in safety to be used by Nautique yet.

If I can read between the lines clamping racks will be coming, just not sure when. This came from a pretty good source.

Yep I'm planning on attending. My guess is this is a pretty major announcement and perhaps a new boat or a significant revamp to existing lineup. We'll see. Hopefully I won't have buyers remorse over my 2015 G25 but I doubt it. Technology always marches forward.

My guesses:

1. New line of "budget" boats under the Supreme or Centurion name.
2. Electric power plant mkII using Tesla batteries with all day charge.
3. Diesel power plant.

Everything else would not seem to warrant the "game changer" moniker, but instead be game tweakers.

Another idea, boat comes with drone that can either follow the boat or follow a wristwatch worn by the rider.

Another good idea (but I am sure not it) would be to throw in the Comptech safety release on the new boats. With all the very expensive bling and unnecessary upgrades they sell on new boats these days, adding in a safety device that could save your life as an OEM option (or better yet, standard feature) would be a good idea.
