Another idea... since riders are going so big on the G series, a factory option cheater tower (or some way to make the tower several feet taller). The tower may become the limiting factor on height if something isn't done to match the tower height to the vertical kick of the G23 wake. I kid... sort of.

Well, if that is a gamechanger, too late. It may not control ballast, but it controls surf gate, speed, wedge.

Tige also has a similar remote wake control feature.

I have that feature on my 211. It's called yelling at the driver.

And so does Malibu...just announced yesterday.

I am very hopeful that this event is truly a a big deal and not just a few new colors and gel coat schemes.

What would happen if you deployed both gates at the same time? It would seem to narrow the center between the waves and make transfers easier. I can do a transfer now, but I have to get myself with my medicore surfing skills right close to the boat. If they just changed the software, could the second gate deploy before the first gate retracts and have a second or two of a bilateral surf wave with a narrow center spine? Just thinking out loud about something nobody has mentioned.

Has anyone had an NSS actuator get stuck to see what would happen?

Tall...I was just thinking the same thing last night when we were out on the lake. This boat should be able to produce two decent waves for a surfer on each side!!!!

Surfgate and NSS work on delayed convergence. So if you deploy both gates or tabs the same amount at the same time the off side wake is no longer delayed. It would be roughly the same as running the boat at surf speed with "Surf Off".

If you deployed one gate or tab less than the other then your surf wake would just get smaller.

I am pretty sure that when doing a transfer one is retracting at the same time the other is deploying. This is the fastest way to make it happen. The only faster way would be use faster actuators.

Nautique Pro riders are sworn to secrecy. There's a lot of jealousy amongst the non-Nautique riders so lets hope it's we see some good stuff tonight deserving of the words "Game Changer".

That was the link I posted and he responded to when he said Tige had one too. Both Malibu and Tige have one... if that is what this is about, they held out too long.

I agree with you, let's hope it isn't a let down.

I'm guessing (and hoping) this will be a "game changer" for surfing and not wakeboarding. It seems like surfing is the focus of pretty much all manufacturers now.

I'll be a little upset if whatever they come out with has a better wakeboard wake than the G23. The rep at the factory said nothing new was coming out so I didn't feel too bad about dropping almost $150K on a boat. With the CDN$ at 0.77 now the pricing on whatever is coming will be unbelievable.

Something in the crossover series perhaps, they could certainly use additional offerings in that category, people are often looking for a do-it-all craft.

If they ever develop something where you can have a regular and goofy surfer riding the same wake at the same time (on opposite sides), they will likely wish they hadn't after the lawsuits start pouring in. I have experienced surfboards shooting out a pretty high velocity on bails, and I can just imagine one flying into the head of your opposite side rider. It would be great when there are no accidents, but I fear that as cool as it sounds, it would be a bad idea.
